We are shamed for showing skin; shamed for covering ourselves. Shamed for being sexual, shamed for being a prude.  No matter what way you look at it- we are carrying GENERATIONS of feminine shame.

My own story is deeply rooted in shame; some that was mine- so that was not.  It's been a BIG process for me to look at how shame manifests itself in my own body.  It took me 7 whole years to realize that shame, specifically, takes on a whole new meaning when it turns into dis-ease in the feminine body.

Shame manifests itself PHYSICALLY in women, more often than it does emotionally. I'd like to share my story, my process, and my tools for acknowledging and beginning to heal from, shame.  I have found that the biggest factor in healing, is awareness.  To become aware, we bring light to shadows.  I invite you to begin to become aware of your own shame, in a loving way.

You will walk away with a sense of empowerment for your body, your sexuality, and most of all, your identity as a woman.

FAQs:

  1. What is a webinar?
It's online viewing platform. You will see and hear me but no one will see or hear you. You only need an internet connection to view me.  You will be prompted to download the Zoom viewing app (takes about 2 minutes).  If you don't have internet, you can use the call in number on your telephone (you'll receive that in an email).

  2. How long will this last?
I would put aside 1.5 hours for this discussion; we may go a little longer or shorter.

  3. Can my young child join?
We will be talking about rape, sex, penetration, trauma, and things of that nature so I don't think it's appropriate for young children.

  4. What do I need to join? A journal?
YES! So glad you asked... please bring a journal and something to write with. A candle is nice too!

  5. Will a recording of this conversation be sent out?
I will not be recording or sending out this webinar, due to the matter of our discussion.
